Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th May 2013

Scottish All Rover Rally at Lauriston Castle, Edinburgh Midlothian. This year the Rally has moved to a new venue in Scotland's Capital City in the grounds of the historic 400 year old Lauriston Castle, set among 30 acres of woodland gardens. This is located to the North West of the City near the picturesque district of Cramond near the forth estuary. An observation run will take place on the Saturday followed by an optional evening dinner and quiz at Edinburgh Capital Hotel, Clermiston Road, early booking for this would be advised as numbers maybe limited!
On Sunday the main static display of cars will be held within the castle grounds with self judging for best in class and a master class for previous class winners. There will be two free tours of the castle given by castle guides and times will be provided on the day, or within the entry packs. The castle houses a lot of interesting Edwardian artefact’s, so this should be well worth a visit! For entrants wishing to stay within the area there is a large caravan and campsite located close by and there is an abundance of Hotel and B&B accommodation to be found in and around the City. For further details and entry forms please visit our website: www.sarr.co.uk  or contact the rally secretary on 01324 714406.

Bressingham Rover Rally
The annual Bressingham Rover Rally, run by the Norfolk and Norwich Rover Owners Club, will be taking place on Sunday 26 May 2013.  This is back to the usual weekend for the late spring Bank Holiday after last years move for the Jubilee. The entry price has been kept at £7 per person, as last year, inclusive of entry to the gardens and rides on the various steam trains. This is the charge made to us by the Bressingham Trust and is a considerable reduction on the normal entry price. As anyone who has been before will know, Bressingham is a very attractive venue and demand for tickets is always high so please book early to avoid disappointment. Space is limited, which means we unfortunately cannot guarantee entry for those who have not pre-booked.
In addition to the very attractive formal gardens, Bressingham has the 'Dads Army' display as well as a museum containing coaches from the royal train together with a number of famous standard gauge steam locomotives and stationary engines. There are also steam gallopers, three separate narrow gauge steam railways on which to ride and a restaurant serving lunches and light refreshments. Alongside the museum and rally field is a well-stocked garden centre, which is also worth a visit. Further information on Bressingham can be found at www.bressingham.co.uk  and information on the NNROC, including entry forms and a report on last years event, can be found at www.norfolkandnorwichroveroc.org.uk  Alternatively call Terry Reynolds on 01603 405280 for an entry form.
